The Barkshire Break Package – A Hotel Stay Especially for Dogs
At Residence Inn Slough we know how important it is to keep your four-legged friend by your side on your travels. Finding a hotel that fully welcomes your dog can be difficult and time-consuming. That’s why we’ve collaborated with leading dog behaviourist Louise Glazebrook and our resident hotel dog Mario to create the Barkshire Break – a paw-esome package that provides every home comfort for your pooch!
Including a behaviour box curated especially for Residence Inn Slough by Louise and a copy of her book (‘The Book Your Dog Wishes You Would Read’), a local map of dog-friendly restaurants, parks and places in the area, a delicious and nutritious welcome meal and a dog bed and bowl, the Barkshire Break has everything you need for you and your dog to feel at home with us. Most importantly, well-behaved dogs are welcome in every space in the building but the gym. The cost of the package is a £150 one-off charge with a minimum length of stay as 2 nights in addition to the room rate.

Dog Behaviour Box & Book
The Barkshire Break includes a behaviour box, curated by leading dog behaviourist Louise Glazebrook, of your choice alongside the book your dog wishes you would read.
Before you arrive, we will ask you to choose the behaviour box most suited to your dog – whether they’re a curious explorer or an active adventurer. An active playful pup can chew on a rubber tennis ball and chow down some delicious pate, while a calm sniffy dog will love exploring with their suitcase toy and Velcro treat.

Discover the dog-friendly parks, shops, pubs and restaurants nearby. Our specially created dog map of the local area has been lovingly tested by our resident dog Mario and is perfect for setting off on adventures together.
We know it can be difficult to find dog-friendly places in the area that you don’t already visit frequently, so we have collaborated with these local businesses to take away the hassle for you.

Whether it’s Chicken Casserole or Braised Beef, select your dogs’ preferred dish from the full menu. There is also a special discount code available for our guests to continue exploring this fantastic offering.

Dog Bowl & Bed
When it’s time to curl up in the evening, your pup can relax on a dog bed of your choosing (large or medium-sized and flat or with an edge) and drink from their own special dog bowl.
